• Baroque Flute Transverse | GA Rottenburgh | 415| Foot-Register | Cocobolo Wood

A special flute because of its foot-register, is a reproduction of the original G.A. Rottenburgh from 18th-Century (1709-1790, Brussels), owned by Barthold Kuijken, a Belgian flutist. Kujiken has used this flute for many concerts and recordings.

Pitched in A=415 Hz, not allowing any alterations to reproduce from the original. With a round embouchure hole, it has a foot-register which can be pulled out.

It is made of Indian Cocobolo wood, a friendly, hard yet lightweight material that does not crack in extreme weather conditions. Additionally, it does not require the maintenance and care that a Grenadilla wood flute typically demands.

The wood ends are protected by imitation Ivory rings to provide a classic touch that replicates the timeless elegance of genuine Ivory.

The package includes a wooden case, a cleaning cloth, replacement pads for the key, and a fingering chart.
