This clarinet in Bb (sib) is a reimagining of a Londoner maker Thomas Key, original of which is housed in the Bate collection of Oxford University.

Beethoven's Symphony No. 4 in B-flat Major, Op. 60, is a symphony  originally scored for a standard orchestra, including clarinets in B-flat and A. In this composition, Beethoven specifies the use of both clarinets in B-flat and clarinet in A.

It is  for any music by Mozart, Beethoven, Haydn, the Stamitz family and other composers of the 18th-century, where the extended range of basset-clarinet is not need.

This 5-key clarinet has a speaker key, throat A key,  Ab/Eb key, F#/C# key, E/B key and an added sixth throat trill key.

Both key-cup designs, 18th-century-box-shape and 19th-century-round-shape are available. It is tuned in A=440 Hz but can be played with change of barrel in A=430 Hz.

This clarinet comes with 2 barrels, case, extra set of pads, extra reed mouthpiece, cap and ligature, cleaning cloth, carrying belt which can be hooked to the thumb rest and a fingering chart..

The body is made of Indian Cocobolo wood with imitation Ivory protection rings.
