Well known as "The Lion of Instruments" Rubab or Rabab is a Musical Instrument from Afghanistan. It is also played in Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, Iran & Pakistan. It is getting popular in Europe & other Northern Countries. It is commonly used in ensembles & to play instrumental solos. 

This Rubab has 2 Drone Strings, 3 Main Strings & 13 Sympathetic Strings which produces classic folk sound.

Its made of Mulberry wood with original finish. The total length is 84 cm, height is 20 cm, width is 19 cm and the weight is 2 KG.

Comes with a gig bag. 

All Rubabs are shipped tuned. With dampness, the string pressure will force the skin downwards at the bridge. Please keep the Rubab near the fire place or under direct sunlight to tighten the skin.
